| History
Established in 1989, Precision Dial Co. purchased the assets of Sooner Dial Co., which was a major dial refinishing shop from 1950 to 1985. The processes were updated and refined to take advantage of advances in screen printing and computer technology. As a result, Precision Dial Company, is now the premier dial supplier to the aerospace industry. Our business is devoted entirely to aviation, producing the highest quality products available (including several Oshkosh champions). |
| Our Process
Incoming orders are inspected and entered into our computer system for order tracking. |
Using our inventory of over 10,000 images, the proper artwork is retrieved.
New artwork, if required, is created from the item supplied using a state of the art CAD system and added to our database for future reference. Images are maintained in the database by part number. |
| Artwork is used to make a screen. A new screen is created for each item, which ensures a sharp image for printing, resulting in a Superior Quality Product. |
All items are prepped, through various controlled methods, painted and ready for printing. |
| Our custom engineered screening tables allow us to accurately align the item to be printed. |
The item is then screen printed. The alignment and printing process is repeated for each color required. |
Final Quality Inspection
Once completed, all items are processed through our Final Quality Inspection. This inspection ensures all aspects of the order have been met and the finished product meets or exceeds our stringent Quality Standards. If required, an FAA 8130-3 or Certificate of Conformance, is provided and items are invoiced and shipped. |
